All photography provided by Block and Bridle Members

Founded in 1937, the Clemson University Block and Bridle Club holds a rich tradition of livestock appreciation and fellowship. Our members come from an array of backgrounds, but all are brought together with common interests in beef cattle, dairy cattle, horses, sheep, swine, or poultry. Major activities include both social and educational events. Outstanding speakers provide students with information about present and future activities in Animal Agriculture. The highlights for the year are the Little North American Showmanship Contest and the annual banquet with the election of outstanding leaders to honorary membership and the distribution of awards earned and won for outstanding activities by members. The B&B Club has sponsored the livestock, meats and horse judging teams. Projects to earn money for all club functions, include BBQ sales, Bulls and BBQ, assisting with livestock sales and other industry events.

Our Mission

We want to provide a fun and educational environment for Clemson Students that are interested in the agriculture industry. Whether you want to pursue a career in agriculture or just enjoy being involved with it, please contact us to become part of our organization! Members must be Clemson University students, but we have plenty of events that are open to the public if you aren't a student.
